We are pleased to announce that Dr Hermine Graham will join the Responsible Gambling Strategy Board (RGSB) from 1 January 2017.
Dr Graham is a consultant clinical psychologist and clinical lecturer at the University of Birmingham and in the NHS; she works in the NHS in community mental health services and in private practice in the area of addictions and mental health.
Dr Hermine Graham also sits on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy and has published a substantial body of research in the area of the relationship between addictive behaviours and mental health problems and regarding the evaluation and implementation of effective treatment approaches. She has also served on expert advisory groups to develop ‘dual diagnosis’ national policy guidance and has substantial national and international experience of consultancy and training.
Sir Christopher Kelly, RGSB Chairman, said:
“I am very pleased to welcome Dr Hermine Graham to the Board. Hermine’s experience will be invaluable to the Board as we deliver the commitment in the new strategy to improve the quality and capacity of treatment for people experiencing gambling-related harm.”
